This iron and brass bell gives voice to the centuries-old tradition of crafting bells for livestock. This artisan partner has been making bells for 3 generations.  Traditionally cows roam free in India and farmers hang bells on them to keep track of their livestock. During holidays it's tradition to decorate cows with floral garlands and bells for celebrating the harvest of their farms.  With their rustic appeal and delightful sound, cowbells have gained popularity outside of their intended use. Through collaborations with designers and free trade companies craftsman are now using cowbells to create home accents that can easily be hung inside or out.
